Pål Nymoen

Pål has worked as an underwater archaeologist in Norway since 1992. Research interests include method development in underwater archaeology, but more particularly, he works with maritime trade and transport over the period AD 800 - 1800. His research includes study of transport zones and organization of transport between inland and coast on rivers and role that maritime trade has had in establishing ports and in the urbanization processes along the coast.
