Six new Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowships
The Research Executive Agency (REA) at the EU Commission has granted six individual Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowships to incoming researchers at the Saxo Institute – four of which will be affiliated at Centre for Textile Research (CTR).
The following researchers and projects have been granted a two-year Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship at the Saxo Institute:
- Corinne Thepaut Cabasset, Dressing the new world. The Trade and the Culture of Clothing in the new Spanish Colonies (1600-1800). Will be affiliated at Centre for Textile Research (CTR) and supervised by Marie Louise Nosch.
- Jane Malcolm-Davies, Knitting early modern Europe: materials, manufacture and meaning. Will be affiliated at Centre for Textile Research (CTR) and supervised by Marie Louise Nosch.
- Jaroslaw Kuisz, Legal Culture under Stalinism in Poland. Will be supervised by Helle Porsdam.
- Kalliope Sarri, Neolithic textiles and clothing industries in the Aegean. Will be affiliated at Centre for Textile Research (CTR) and supervised by Marie Louise Nosch.
- Maria Papadopoulou, The Cultural biography of a garment in Hellenistic Egypt. Will be affiliated at Centre for Textile Research (CTR) and supervised by Marie Louise Nosch.
- Sebastian Abrahamsson, Food Waste in Denmark and Sweden - Understanding Household Consumption Practices to develop Sustainable Food Care. Will be affiliated with Copenhagen Centre for Health Research in the Humanities (CoRe) and supervised by Astrid Pernille Jespersen.

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie research fellowship program is a set of mobility research grant schemes funding pre- and post-doctoral researchers in Europe as well as experienced researchers. The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship is one of Europe’s most competitive and prestigious awards aimed at fostering interdisciplinary research and international collaborations.
