Time-Traveling Conversations: Designing Robots to Imitate Speaking Styles of Historical Figures
Talk with David Figueroa.
Can we bring the voices of the past into the present? David Figueroa, Maria Sylvia Alaoja, and Chen Li ask this question in their Villum-funded project. Their goal is to design humanoid robots that mimic the speaking style and gestures of historical figures for immersive, real-time conversation.
David Figueroa will present their work and showcase how this technology can be used in museums and cultural venues.
All are welcome! The team is very interested in connecting with Saxo researchers to explore potential collaborations.
