Sport and National Identity in Southeastern Europe

The research centre The Many Roads in Modernity and the Ex-Yugoslavia Network welcome you to a seminar with two lecturers:

• PhD-candidate Dario Brentin, University of Graz / University College London “Ready for the Homeland?” Ritual, Remembrance and Political Extremism in Croatian football.  
• Postdoctoral Researcher Zlatko Jovanovic, University of Copenhagen ZOI'84 as the Zenith of Yugoslav Unity - Performing Local and Supranational Identities in Olympic Sarajevo.

The seminar is organized by The Many Roads in Modernity, Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies, and is open to all and no registration is needed.
