Course selection

As an exchange or guest student at the SAXO Institute you have access to a wide range of courses. There are several English-taught courses at the department and you can also choose courses from other departments, Danish culture courses and Danish language courses. Information about course selection and registration in general can be found on the KUnet page for exchange students at the Faculty of Humanities.

Choosing Courses at the SAXO Institute

When you have been admitted to the University of Copenhagen, you need to apply for the courses you wish to attend at the SAXO Institute. You can find information about the  English-taught courses offered at the SAXO Institute on the SAXO Courses page or in the course catalogue.
Bachelor students can also follow the courses offered at MA level, but with a different type of exam.

Course Registration at the SAXO Institute

To register for courses at the SAXO Institute you simply send an application by email to the course coordinator of your section. It is important that you include the following details in your email:

Name of course(s) you wish to attend (at best you fill in more than one priority)
Your Full Name
Your KU user name
Date of Birth (dd/mm/yy) or Danish CPR-number
Name of Home University
Field(s) of Study at the University of Copenhagen

When all the applications have been processed you will receive an email notification with the names of the courses which you have been admitted to.

Course Cancellation at the SAXO Institute

To cancel one of your courses at the SAXO Institute please contact the course coordinator of your section. It is important that you include the following details in your email:

Name of course(s) you are attending
Your Full Name
Your KU user name
Date of Birth (dd/mm/yy) or Danish CPR-number
